Our club started in 2022, out of necessity for a basketball outlet for the Balbriggan and surrounds areas of Co. Dublin. Growing from strength to strength as an independent basketball facility, we are proud to enter into our 5th season as a Basketball Club.

ight now, we are planning to enter 23 teams into our Teams rostering. A senior mens team, an under 17Boys team and an Under14 boys team into the DMBB for season 2026/2027.
With the help of the parents and volunteers alike, we aim to succeed in all areas of cub development as well as trying to run for a title position in one or all our team groupings.
Soon we would like to have female teams in the Irish leagues.
Balbriggan Basketball operates a Youth Academy that trains young people to participate in the sport of Basketball. The goals are; knowing how to play the sport, team building exercises, active participation in sports, and a fun place to make new friends.
The inclusive club caters to anybody (Boys & Girls) interested in taking part in the sport and ages start from 6 to 15 years old for our Junior members, and trainings are either on a Wednesday & Friday evenings and Sunday morning.
