Welcome to Balbriggan Basketball Club for the 2026/2027 season!
Whether you’re returning to the court or joining us for the first time, we’re delighted to have you as part of the Balbriggan Basketball family.
🏀 What’s New This Season
To support our growth, our management team will be splitting into smaller groups within each age group.
This will allow us to enhance training for players of similar age and ability, and improve preparation for participation in league games.
If a member currently in our Academy (Play & Train) sessions would like to join a league team, they are welcome to approach a coach with the request at any time. We will assess suitability and discuss next steps.
Friendly matches will be arranged for all groups as soon as possible. Players will need a Jersey / Team Uniform for games. Details on ordering will follow.
📍 Our Home Court
Venue: Bremore Educate Together Secondary School, Balbriggan
📝 Registration – Mandatory
Registration with Balbriggan Basketball and Basketball Ireland is mandatory. It’s a requirement of our insurance policy and Basketball Ireland.
Important notes:
1. Registration can only be completed by a parent/legal guardian, or someone over 18.
2. All members must complete the registration form and pay the annual fee before participating in training/games.
3. Members who are not registered will not be permitted in the gym.

Forms are available on request and can be handed in to the Club Manager or any of our coaches along with the fee.
💶 Membership Costs for 2026/27
Membership fees are remaining the same as last year.
Academy Training:
– Ages 6-9: Under 9 Membership & Basketball Training – €60 + €5 per session
– Ages 10-15: Under 12 & Under 15 Membership & Basketball Training – €70 + €5 per session
Teams for 2026/27 Season:
We aim to field the following teams:
– Eagles – Under 12 Boys
– Falcons – Under 14 Boys
– Sharks – Under 15 Girls
– Falcons – Under 17 Boys
– Dragunz – Senior Men
– Ladies Social Basketball
Note: Costs for team players may vary depending on league fees, jerseys, and competition entry. These will be discussed at team level and communicated via team broadcast on SquadApp.
All fees above cover annual membership from September 2026 to May 2027. Session fees help cover hall hire and equipment.
Each training session at our academy will be a 1.5 hour fun, structured session focused on skill development, teamwork, leadership, and enjoyment.
We advise all members to wear proper sports attire and bring water to every session.
