Balbriggan Basketball Club is excited to share our updates and upcoming events. We’d love to see as many members of our community involved as possible as we build toward our new season starting in October.
🏀 Successful Summer Basketball Camp Recap
We’re thrilled to share that our Summer Basketball Camp was a great success and ran from Monday, 13th July to Friday, 17th July 2026.
Thank you to all the young players who joined us to develop their skills, stay active, and have fun in a positive and supportive environment. We can’t wait to do it again!
⛹️ Balbriggan Basketball 2026/27 Season – Player Assessments & Trials
Date: Starting From 12th August 2026
Venue: Bremore Educate Together Secondary School, Balbriggan
Enlisting Players
We are holding player assessments and trials to enlist players for the following teams for the 2026/27 season:
Youth Assessments:
Time: 18:30 – 20:00
* Falcons Under 17 Boys
* Falcons Under 14 Boys
* Sharks Under 15 Girls
* Eagles Under 12 Boys
The youth assessment is designed to help us gauge player interest, age profiles, and numbers before confirming team formation for the upcoming season. Please note that attendance does not guarantee selection or that a team will be entered.
Senior Teams:
Time: 20:00 – 21:30
* Dragunz Senior Men – Team Trials
* Ladies Social Basketball – For interested participants. More information to come.
As Balbriggan Basketball continues to grow, we’re always looking to connect with more people across our community. We’d really appreciate it if you could share this email and the attached flyers with any community centres, schools, clubs, organisations, families, or individuals who may be interested in getting involved.
